The Glendola Fire Company Junior Firefighter program allows young adults, ages 14 through 17, with in an interest in firefighting to learn not only about firefighting, but to learn the importance of teamwork and problem solving. The junior members will also learn that the fire company serves the community by answering all types of emergency calls and by volunteering their time for community events, thus instilling community pride in these young adults. The junior members will learn about the equipment the fire company uses and why we use them through classroom work and hands on training.
